What is an Enrolled Agent?

Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this  elite status must adhere to strict ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years.

As an Enrolled Agent,  Jean is considered to be one of America's  tax experts. She has earned the privilege of representing her clients before the IRS and the MN Dept of Revenue by passing a comprehensive IRS exam covering individual and business tax returns.

The office of Enrolled Agent was instituted after our nation's Civil War. Agents were instrumental in settling land disputes and representing citizens before the US Govt.
